Sometimes a handout is just what a client needs to get the conversation started.
If it’s a truly good handout it can act as a guide and help navigate your client’s healing journey. One word of caution: stay away from the ones that are obvious and redundant. For instance, I don’t think I can stomach one more “tip list” that tells me to eat more berries! Here’s a few tips and tricks lists freshly plucked from the internet that have some actual useful information. You can easily print these and use them as conversation starters in session.
